Alex is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue University whose research sits at the intersection of social ontology, metaphysics, and social epistemology. He is especially interested in how conspiracy theories take shape, why false beliefs endure even amid abundant information, and what models of selfhood best explain our participation in social and normative structures. His broader philosophical interests extend to Ancient Greek philosophy and Aesthetics. When he isn’t writing or teaching, Alex can usually be found watching science fiction and horror films and television, or playing guitar.
