Alex Vrabely

Former interpreter / language analyst, current PhD student; Alex completed his undergraduate BA in Philosophy at University of Colorado Boulder. His philosophical area of concentration is in social ontology and metaphysics (looking at some questions like what is a conspiracy theory, and how can we explain the persistence of verifiably false knowledge claims in cases where access to accurate information is abundant? What models of the self make sense within normative structures?) and social epistemology (what sorts of justification do conspiracy theories involve?). His other philosophical areas of interest include Critical Theory and Ancient Greek philosophy. Alex's hobbies include watching too many movies & tv shows (Sci-fi & horror) and playing guitar.
