Garet Turner joined the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in September 2012 as an Educational Programs Manager. CASE is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. In his role, he is responsible for the management of faculty and logistics for a portfolio of 12-15 annual conferences on a range of advancement disciplines.
Previously, Turner served as a Regional Director of Development at Purdue University, Associate Director of Development in the School of Management at George Mason University and as the Associate Director of Regional Programs at the Trust for the National Mall.
A proud former member of many Purdue student organizations, including Purdue Student Union Board (PSUB), CLA’s Diversity and Retention Initiatives through Volunteering Education and Networking (DRIVEN), he remains an active alum. Holding Life Membership with the Alumni Association and serving as chair of Purdue Black Alumni Organization’s, Fundraising and Scholarship Committees, Garet is proud to be a member of the CLA Alumni Board.
