Vice President, Development, American Society of Association Executives Foundation (ASAE Foundation), Washington, D.C.

Garet Turner began leading fundraising efforts for the ASAE Foundation in August of 2017 after serving as the Director of Corporate Relations for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Garet held two positions with CASE from September 2012 until his departure. In his role as vice president of development for the ASAE Foundation, Garet is responsible for all revenue generating activities that support the Foundation's robust research agenda. Previously, he served several organizations in annual giving and major gift fundraising capacities.

Garet is a former member of many Purdue student organizations, including the Purdue Student Union Board (PSUB), and CLA's Diversity and Retention Initiatives through Volunteering Education and Networking (DRIVEN). He remains an active alum and holds life membership with the Purdue Alumni Association. Garet also serves as chair of the Purdue Black Alumni Organization's Fundraising and Scholarship Committees. Garet is proud to be a member of the CLA Alumni Board.

Garet resides in Washington, DC with his husband Lonnie Walker Jr., a District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia licensed Realtor and property manager, co-owner and principal of The Agile Home Team, an EXP Realty company.
