ERIC KORCHNAK

KorchnakBA 1999, Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts

Graphic Designer, Purdue Federal Credit Union, West Lafayette, IN

Eric Korchnak has been the in-house graphic designer at Purdue Federal Credit Union since 2009. Most all printed materials from brochures to billboards, statement messages to branch signage, newspaper and magazine ads to just about everything in between is almost entirely designed in-house. Additionally, he performs in and edits occasional “newscasts” that provides a fun way to keep all the credit union employees informed and updated. You would never guess that a graphic designer for a financial institution would be very busy, but there has rarely been a slow day since he started. Previously, he worked in the pre-press department at the Lafayette Journal & Courier, designing ads and paginating the daily paper. Prior to that, he was an HVAC designer/ CAD draftsman for Hill Mechanical Group in Chicago. He also runs a freelance business where he provides graphic design services.

While attending Purdue, Eric was a member of the Reamer Club and a pilot of the Boilermaker Special.

Eric resides in West Lafayette, IN.
