An accomplished higher education professional, Bridget Williams Golden recently stepped into a new role as Chief Enthusiasm Officer for Golden Educational Consulting, which helps families successfully navigate the college admissions process. In this role, Bridget builds relationships in the community and advocates for a healthy and balanced approach to applying to college.

Bridget served as the Alumni Engagement Director for Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society for seven years. The Mortar Board Alumni Association was launched during her tenure as well as the growth of alumni chapters and programming. Prior to working with Mortar Board, Bridget was assistant director of student conduct at Vanderbilt University and assistant dean of students at Purdue University. Bridget is an active volunteer with her sons' schools and in her community.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Purdue University (BA, 1998, English education) and The Ohio State University (MA, 2001, higher education and student affairs), Bridget currently lives in Nashville with her husband Thom (Ph.D. 2009, Purdue) and three sons. As an undergraduate at Purdue, Bridget was a member of Purdue Musical Organizations (University Choir), Old Masters Central Committee, Mortar Board, Women in Communication, and Delta Delta Delta. Bridget credits her time at Purdue with allowing her to develop as a leader and also leading her to pursue a career in higher education.
