The Digital Learning Collaboratory

Location: Hicks Undergraduate Library, Rm B853

This cutting-edge facility provides students the opportunity to utilize workstations for accessing electronic resources, scanning documents, capturing images, 3-D development & rendering, web development, as well as editing and compressing digital video and audio. Apart from a large multimedia development area, the DLC features a wireless instructional area, equipment checkout, and collaboration rooms. The checkout equipment includes laptops, digital cameras, digital camcorders, tripods, and external firewire hard drives.

Free workshops are available for students to learn about specific research and development tools and applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript, PHP/MySQL, etc.
