Ken Ferraro Ken Ferraro was highlighted in Purdue Today (February 19, 2019) as an example of Purdue’s commitment to older adults in Purdue’s proposal for membership. The center involves faculty from more than 20 departments and is dedicated to aging-related research and education.

Professor Brian MacCraith of Dublin City University said Purdue was selected as a member of the Age-Friendly University Global Network because of its commitment to aging, which was reflected in “the breadth of activities and interdisciplinary research”. Parentland graphic Jill Suitor was featured in the BBS series “Parentland,” which focuses on parenting around the world on March 27, 2019. Dr. Suitor was highlighted in an episode on Sibling Rivalry for which she was asked to discuss her findings from the “Within-Family Differences Study” regarding the role of parental favoritism and disfavoritism in sibling rivalry in adulthood. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p076b87c
