PowerPlay Interactive Development Program Comes to Purdue University

Office of the Provost Hosts University of New Hampshire’s Renowned Theatre Group

On January 21 and 22, 2020, the Office of the Provost hosts a visit to our campus by the University of New Hampshire’s PowerPlay Interactive Development program.  PowerPlay is a renowned interactive theater group that provides an innovative opportunity for faculty to cultivate bias awareness and intervention strategies.  Facilitated by bias researcher Stephanie Goodwin, each training lab features several customized scenes during which actors portray everyday moments of bias and invite participants to explore possible responses.

These are free, interactive training labs with several times to choose from. Please register via the links below:

  • Faculty and staff -- Two training labs are available: 1:30-4:30 p.m. Jan. 21, Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom, or 8:30-11:30 a.m. Jan. 22, Stewart Center, Room 206. Register for either session
  • Undergraduate students -- 6-9 p.m. Jan. 21, Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom. Register for this session
  • Graduate and professional students -- 2:30-5:30 p.m. Jan. 22, Stewart Center, Room 206. Register for this session
