M.F.A. NEW STUDENT LINKS

Welcome to Purdue!

Admitted Students

Accepting your admission letter from the Graduate School through an official reply form is the first step towards beginning your graduate studies at Purdue University.

Moving to a new area and embarking on your MFA adventure can be an exciting but unfamiliar time.  Let the Purdue Graduate School Welcome Packet guide you through these first few weeks as a graduate student.  In it, you will find helpful information about Graduate School Orientation Day, housing, transportation, getting a student ID card, and much more.

International Students

The Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS) is your #1 resource for help with anything from traveling to Purdue to adjusting to American customs to immigration counseling.  ISS also offers a very helpful guidebook called Weeks of Welcome to guide international students through the weeks prior to the start of Fall semester.

Orientation Week

Everyone in Art and Design is prepared and excited to welcome you to our department.  There are many orientations for new and continuing graduate students every August.  Download the schedule of events for the week before Fall classes begin!
