  Established in 1955, Modern Fiction Studies is an internationally respected, peer-reviewed journal publishing the best scholarship on modern and contemporary fiction.  Essays in MFS are informed by current historical, interdisciplinary, theoretical, and cultural approaches to narrative.

 publishes poetry, fiction, non-fiction and memoir, as well as book reviews, art and occassional opinion pieces in not only a bi-annual printed format, but also online.  SR strives to publish the best writing by new and established writers and also to provide an online forum for lively literary discussion.
