Born in Bogota, Colombia.
Juan received a BA in Industrial Design with a minor in Architecture from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. In 2005 he started the BZC Media Corporation Project.
Juan graduated with an MFA in Electronic and Time-Based Art from Purdue University in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Elon University in North Carolina.
