Professor Richard Thomas received two honors at the 2008 USITT Annual Conference in Houston. Both the USITT Joel E. Rubin Founder's Award and the names of new USITT Fellows are kept secret until they are presented. Van Phillips, Professor Emeritus, presented both awards.
