Specialization: While at Purdue, Maggie has taught several general study skills and reading skills classes, as well as study skills classes paired with Psych 120, MA 111, and MA 152.  Her special interest is in math.  She works extensively with walk-in students who are having difficulty in math and conducts a workshop each semester dealing with math study skills and math anxiety.

Maggie came to Purdue as an instructor in 1995.  Her many years of teaching experience prior to that include teaching math from middle school levels to community college levels in Iowa, Nebraska, and Illinois, as well as teaching developmental math courses at Ivy Tech  Outside of class Maggie is an avid Jeopardy fan, loves to cook (and eat!), read, sail, has several unfinished quilts, and enjoys life!
