Kathy has been Director of the Academic Success Center since 1982. Since that time, the ASC has seen much growth in services and courses offered.
Kathy has an ongoing interest in instructional technology. She especially enjoys teaching a hybrid class. Students enjoy the flexibility of having much of the class online and Kathy appreciates the fact that she can reach more students. She is the author/creator of the Academic Success Skills series of eight videos, a textbook, and the new Power Study Tools CD’s. They are marketed internationally through the Office of Lifelong Learning.
Recently she was inducted into the Teaching Academy, an organization dedicated to teaching and learning at Purdue University. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, hike and cycle.
