Meeting with your Academic Advisor
All Purdue students work with an academic advisor to register for classes, learn about requirements for graduation, and more. Liberal Arts academic advisors are specially trained to help students explore their majors and interest areas while making progress toward earning their Purdue degree.
Each Liberal Arts student is assigned to a specific Liberal Arts academic advisor, and meets with that person during STAR to choose classes for fall semester. For as long as the student remains in Liberal Arts, his/her Liberal Arts academic advisor is available to answer questions about classes, direct the student to a wide variety of resources on campus, and help the student with all other matters related to academics at Purdue. Acandemic Advisors can also help students make plans for their careers and/or graduate studies.
Liberal Arts academic advisors can be contacted via phone & email, and are available to meet with students in person in the Liberal Arts Advising office in Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education (BRNG) room 1114.
