2007 Summer Institute
The Fourth Summer Institute for the
Social Scientific Study of Religion is to be held on July 16-28,
2007 at Shanghai University. The major lecturers are
Professor
Nancy Ammerman of Boston University, USA, and
Professor Grace Davie of the University of Exeter, UK. The
interpreters are
Anna Sun (孙笑东),
Elisa
Zhai (翟杰霞),and
Nanlai Cao（曹南来）.
2006 Summer Institute
The third Summer
Institute for the Social Scientific Study of Religion was held on July 10-22, 2006 at Renmin University of China, Beijing.
More than 70 faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate
students from over 20 provinces participated in it.

The second Summer
Institute for the Social Scientific Study of Religion was held on
July 11-23, 2005 at Renmin University of China, Beijing. More than
70 faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate students
from over 20 provinces participated in it, and more than 60 people
received certificates for fully participating in all the lectures
and completing fieldwork practices.

2004 Summer Institute
The first
Summer Institute for the Social Scientific Study of Religion was
held on July 12-25, 2004 at Renmin University of China, Beijing.
More than 70 faculty members and graduate students from over 20
provinces participated in it, and 61 people received certificates
for fully participating in all the lectures and completing fieldwork
practices.
