Dr. Dedong Wei is an Associate Professor of Religious
Studies at Renmin University of China, Beijing,
specializing in Buddhist philosophy and empirical
research on religion in China. He has published numerous
articles in scholarly journals. He is the editor of the
Chinese Journal of the Social Scientific Study of
Religion.
