研究课题经费

 

首批和第二批中国学者宗教实证研究奖助基金颁发

 

 

We offer small research grants to Chinese scholars on a competitive basis. The grants are intended for young scholars and graduate students to conduct social scientific study of religion in China. Applicants will design their own research projects and write research proposals. The research proposals will be evaluated by advisors. Each grant is up to US$3,000.  We offer about five grants each year.

The proposal may be in Chinese or English. The proposal is a narrative description (no more than 5 pages), including a brief literature review, research questions, data collection methods and plans, a selected bibliography, and an annotated budget that describes the rationale for proposed expenditures. The grant can only be used for research related expenses and no more than half of the applied amount may be used for stipend or living costs at usual worksite.

The application should also include an abstract of the proposal (no more than 100 words), a copy of the Curriculum Vitae, and contact information (email address, postal address, and phone numbers) of one or two established scholars as referees. 为了推动中国宗教社会科学研究的发展，我们向中国学者以及研究生提供一定的研究经费，支持进行对宗教的实证研究。经费申请者自行设计研究课题，撰写申请报告。申请报告将由顾问评审，择优提供经费。每个课题的研究经费的上限为3千美元。研究经费一般只能用于与研究相关的直接花费(用于本人在工作常驻之地的生活花销，如确有必要，则最多不应超过总预算的一半)。我们计划每年支持大约5个课题。
