Application Deadlines

There are two deadlines for submitting applications:

December 31st: Completed applications submitted by December 31st can be considered for the full range of fellowships and assistantships.

February 15th: Completed applications submitted after December 31st but before February 15th are considered for assistantships, but not fellowships.

Application Checklist:

Step 1:  Complete the Purdue Electronic Application for Graduate Study.

Step 2:  Pay the $55 Application Fee online via credit card.

Step 3:  Submit a Personal Statement with your electronic application or mail a paper copy to:

Step 4:  Ask your recommenders to complete their letters of recommendation via the electronic application or on paper.  Send paper recommendations to:

For recommenders wishing to complete a paper recommendation, please send the following recommendation form (PDF).

Step 5:  Request that two copies of transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions be sent to:

Step 6:  Request that ETS transmit your GRE and TOEFL scores to Purdue University (Institution code: 1631).
