Areas of Study

The sociology department at Purdue is organized under the following five fields of sociological specialization:

Family, Sex and Gender
Health, Aging, and the Life Course
Law and Society
Politics and Economy
Sociology of Religion

We also offer a Graduate Certificate in Survey Research and a Dual Title PhD in Gerontology.
