Alumni News

Kathy Abrahamson (PhD 2008) is currently a Department of Veterans Affairs Health Services Research and Development Fellow within the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dina Banerjee (PhD 2009) is currently a post-doctoral research assistant in the Department of Engineering Education at Purdue University.

Simon Bauer-Leffler (PhD 2008) is currently Survey Research Manager for the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) laboratory in the Schaefer Center for Public Policy at the University of Baltimore.

Carol F. Black (PhD 2008) is currently Assistant Professor of Sociology at Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina.

Gregory Gibson (PhD 2008) is currently Project Manager for the Social Research Institute in the Department of Sociology at Purdue University.

George Kikuchi (PhD 2008) is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Japanese National Research Institute of Police Science.

Jori Sechrist (PhD 2008) is currently a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Sociology at Purdue University.

Nathan Shippee (PhD 2008) is currently a Fulbright Research Fellow, working on a project on history and nation-building in Ukraine.

Tetyana P. Shippee (PhD 2008) is currently a Research Associate with Purdue’s Center on Aging and the Life Course, and is also a visiting professor at Precarpathian National University in Ukraine.

Tauna Sisco (PhD 2008) is currently Assistant Professor of Sociology at Saint Anselm College and The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Ebonie Cunningham Stringer (PhD 2006) is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
