Curriculum
Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences is one of 11 departments of the College of Liberal Arts. The core requirements of the College of Liberal Arts are designed to ensure that students obtain a broad background in the humanities, social sciences, mathematics,and the natural or physical sciences. While working toward your bachelor's degree, you will take approximately 42 courses (126 credit hours). Of these, about one-third will be for the core, one-third for your SLHS major, and the remaining one-third consists of electives selected by you. Your electives may support your major, lead to a second major, or satisfy any other area of interest.
