    Mary Lou Poole, M.S.; Clincal Associate Professor

    Speech-Language Pathology

    Mary Lou Miller is a speech-language pathologist and member of the professional staff. Her duties include observation of student practicum, supervision of conference meetings with students, review of therapy plans and reports, carrying out of administrative duties relevant to the clinical program, provision of in-service training, teaching of clinical practicum classes and demonstration of teaching techniques of clinical management. Her primary responsibilities are in clinical management of neurogenic disorders of speech in adults, augmentative/alternative communication, dysphagia, child language and speech, and preschool and adult screenings.

    Mary Lou is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Indiana Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology/Audiology (IBESPA), Indiana Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA). She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
