SLHS Advisory Board
The purpose of the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Advisory Board is to provide expertise, advocacy, and input on issues facing the department programs and to assist the programs in achieving their goals.
Major functions of the Advisory Board currently are:
- to work within the context of the University's 1.3 billion dollar Capital Campaign
- to assist the Department in raising funds to support the construction of a new building which will house all academic, research and clinical programs and which will be easily accessible to the public
- to supplement existing endowment monies for the purposes of funding additional student scholarships
