Setting up a new Dreamweaver site to use your J drive

  1. Open Dreamweaver and from the Dreamweaver dialogue, under "Create New", select Dreamweaver Site.
    Step one 
  2. On the "Basic tab" of the "Site Definition" Window, give your site a name and web address.

  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Next to “Local root folder”, click the folder icon to browse to your computer.
  5. Browse to your J: drive and pick a folder or create a new folder for your website.
  6. Click “Select” then “Ok”
