Rachel

Rachel is a senior from Fishers, Indiana.  Her majors are Anthropology and Classical Studies, concentrating in Archaeology, with a minor in Forensic Sciences.  She is involved in many extracurricular activities, such as the Purdue Anthropology Society, Purdue Classics Association, and works at Boiler Crossing in Meredith Hall.

Rachel chose Liberal Arts because of her wide variety of interests.  At Purdue, Rachel says she was able to search for a major that could combine all of her different abilities and interests.  She settled on Archaeology (as subfields within the Anthropology and Classical Studies majors).

Rachel states that, “Liberal Arts helps you to broaden your horizons, while giving you a foundation for your future career—helping you to understand what you really want to do with your life and prepare for those opportunities.”

Rachel’s time at Purdue and Liberal Arts has given her great opportunities and allowed her to gain leadership experience.  As graduation approaches, she feels confident that she is extremely prepared to take on the exciting future that is ahead of her.
