Cory

Cory

Cory joins us from St. Anne, Illinois. He has two majors, Communication and Psychology, along with a minor in management.

How did you choose your major?: "I have always been interested in healthy lifestyles and have realized that there is a growing need for professionals in this field.  Many Americans need to be exposed to healthy ways to deal with stress and other health risks.  After graduation I plan to work for a non-profit organization promoting healthy living options for a community."

On the value of a Liberal Arts education: "A Liberal Arts education gives me a much broader and cultural perspective on the world around me."

Cory was a Dammon Dean's Scholar his freshman year.  He is also involved in the Emerging Leaders Program, Health and Kinesiology Club, and is a student leader of a social fraternity.  He is also an intramural sports supervisor and lifeguard trainer for the Recreational Sports Facility at Purdue.
