Prospective Students
Carryn
Carryn is a junior from Angola, Indiana. She is studying Law and Society with a minor in Political Science.
Carryn is an active participant of the Dean’s Ambassador Program and the Pre-Law Society Club. She has also been a part of the Career Leadership Academy at the Center for Career Opportunities. Her volunteer experience has been diverse from WBAA local radio station, the Timmy Foundation, to Purdue’s Art Galleries.
“I strongly believe students should study topics they are interested in. If students don’t find passion in a major, then they might not enjoy their experience of learning.”
After she graduates from Purdue, Carryn plans on continuing her education at graduate school or work in a law office being a paralegal. “A liberal arts education uses a variety of learning prospectives which help expand my thinking and understanding of the world.”
