Your Choice:  "I started out in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and English Education before deciding on a degree in Communication. The best part about receiving a degree from Liberal Arts is that I was not tied to one specific title or career. My biggest problem looking for a job was trying to decide which career path to take with my degree!"

Your Choice:  "Liberal Arts has so many degree programs it's hard to choose just one! Many students minor (or even major) in multiple departments. I truly love the variety in my classes and the ability to obtain a very well-rounded education. The core curriculum allows students to take classes from all different departments. Some of my favorite courses were ones I chose to take just so I could learn about something outside my major."

How did your Liberal Arts education help you in obtaining your first job?:  "A Purdue education will help you get a step up in the job market.  Purdue has several career fairs, a Center for Career Opportunities (CCO), and more ways to network than you could imagine! I spent some time interviewing and searching for the right job until I found my position. The President and CEO of the company I am working for is also a former Boilermaker. He sees potential in Purdue graduates and understands the value of their education."
