Your Choice:  "A liberal arts education employs you with the critical thinking skills that you will ABSOLUTELY NEED in the real world.  Since I've started my experience in Teach For America, I have noticed how much my education has allowed me to look at a situation from multiple perspectives, articulate complex processes and explanations to others, communicate verbally to diverse audiences, and create and write my plans and assessments and reports for teaching.  I do more writing on a nightly basis than I did in college, but it comes easily to me because I know my creative strengths and limits.  It all builds.  The College of Liberal Arts gave me experience with so many real-world skills.  Liberal arts can be specialized, yet the value of a holistic education carries me further than I ever realized."

How do think your Liberal Arts/Purdue education will help you in your first job?:  "I think my challenging course work has really helped me because I know how to work at a problem until I find a solution."
