Anna

Anna graduated in May 2009 with a degree in English Education.  She is working at Larkin High School in Elgin, Illinois as a Reading Teacher. During her undergraduate students, Anna was a residence assistant in Owen Hall. 

My choice: "I chose the College of Liberal Arts because I was able to choose courses that I was interested in and take ownership of my education. The college made me not only a well-rounded student, but helped me build connections between disciplines and encouraged me to explore my variety of interests."

Your choice:  "I would encourage anyone to choose the College of Liberal Arts because it provides students with life long learning skills. It would behoove anyone to take part of the multiple disciplines and crafts offered."

How did your Liberal Arts education help you obtaining your first job?: "Purdue's reputation and high academic standards definitely helped me get the job I have now. People all over the country know that Purdue Liberal Arts graduates are well-rounded intellectuals."
