The newly remodeled Union Club Hotel is located in the Purdue Memorial

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Conferees can run, walk, bike, or simply read their favorite book at locations throughout Purdue's 1,579 acre main campus. Conferees can enjoy the various sports and exercise equipment at the Recreational Sports Center and an olympic sized pool in the Aquatic Center. Purdue Convocations hosts numerous public theatre and musical performances. Numerous eye-catching art exhibits are scattered throughout campus and open to the public. For golfers, the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex includes two challenging courses, one of which was re-designed by Pete Dye. Horticulture Gardens provide beautiful floral displays where you can soak up some sun and appreciate nature. Horticulture Park is 24 acres of woodlands and landscaped areas suited to hiking, nature drawing, photography, and relaxation.
The Lafayette and West Lafayette communities boast numerous restrauants, abundant shopping, and a wide range of entertainment choices. Conferees interested in the great outdoors can take advantage of the 13 area parks, some of which include walking trails, playground equipment, and sports courts. Wolf Park is a unique education and research wildlife facility where wolves, bison, coyotes, and foxes live in a natural habitat. You can even join in for a Howl Night with the wolves! Downtown Lafayette is the perfect setting for shopping and viewing of 19th century architecture.
