This miniconference is designed for graduate student presentations only. Graduate students can submit abstracts of their paper for consideration. One faculty member at each institution typically is the designated contact (OCMC representative) for their institution’s submissions. When there is more than one graduate student from a given institution who wishes to participate as a speaker, the students often are ranked by their OCMC representative and/or faculty members at their institution in order to facilitate program scheduling. The top rankings per institution often are doctoral students who are going on the job market and who are presenting their prospectuses (with or without dissertation data) to miniconference atttendees.
If we receive large numbers of abstract submissions, we will consider hosting a poster session to provide an opportunity for more students to showcase their work.
To be considered as a presenter at OCMC, graduate students need to register and then in a separate form below, provide an abstract of your presentation (250-words or less), five keywords, your title, your name, your email address, your advisor’s name, and both your current institution as well as the university from which you are receiving your MA or Ph.D. degree.
Deadline: September 10
