Application Procedures

To apply to the graduate program in Linguistics, submit an electronic application and the $55 nonrefundable application fee to Purdue University via a secured server.  At the same time, send directly to Dr. Ronnie Wilbur, Director of Linguistics Program, (100 North University Street, Beering Hall, Room 1289, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN 47907-2098) the following:

  1. GRE scores for all applicants
  2. TOEFL, TWE scores for international applicants
  3. at least 3 letters of recommendation
  4. statement of purpose for Linguistics
  5. copies in duplicate of all prior transcripts (international students must include both the original and English translations of the transcript and diploma)
  6. a writing sample
