• Dr. John R. Seffrin, who earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Education from Purdue in 1970, was awarded an honorary Doctor Of Social Science degree from Purdue University in 2003. Dr. Seffrin is the chief executive officer of the American Cancer Society, the largest voluntary health organization in the world that is devoted to fighting cancer. >> more information
