We are delighted to announce that in addition to our three plenary speakers, Alan Palmer, author of Fictional Minds (Lincoln: University of Nebraska Press, 2004), which won the 2005 Perkins Prize, and the 2005 Modern Language Association Prize for Independent Scholars, will be joining us for the conference. Alan Palmer will chair a working breakfast on Sunday, November 5, to discuss the conference’s conclusions and propose directions for future research. He will also lead Howard Mancing and Paula Leverage’s team-taught graduate seminar on Theory of Mind and Literature on the evening prior to the conference (Wednesday, October 31, 4:30-7:20 pm), which is open to conference participants. |
