Dino Franco Felluga completed his doctorate at the U of California, Santa Barbara in 1995, followed by two postdoctoral fellowships, the first at the U of Calgary Institute for the Humanities, the second in the English Department at Stanford U. His articles have appeared in SEL: Studies in English Literature, Criticism, Victorian Poetry, European Romantic Review, ARIEL, Romanticism on the Net, and the Blackwell Companion to Victorian Poetry. His first book, The Perversity of Poetry: Romantic Ideology and the Popular Male Poet of Genius was published by SUNY Press in 2005. He has two new book projects: Byron and the Constitution of the British Novel, co-written with Emily Allen, explores the influence of Byron on the rise of the novel and the theorization of aesthetic realism from Jane Austen through George Eliot. An Introductory Guide to Critical Theory is a text-based introduction to theory that will accompany his web-based Guide to Theory (http://www.purdue.edu/guidetotheory). Prof. Felluga is also the current Chair of the Executive Council for the North American Victorian Studies Association.
