Linda S. Bergmann is Associate Professor of English and Director of the Purdue Writing Lab. Her research interests include the institutional situation of discourse, Writing Across the Curriculum, Writing Program Administration, and women's personal narratives. She has published articles in journals such as Language and Learning Across the Disciplines, Feminist Teacher, and A/B Auto/Biography Studies and chapters in The Personal Narrative: Writing Ourselves as Teachers and Scholars, ed. Gil Haroian-Guerin and Foregrounding Ethnical Awarenes in Composition and English Studies, ed. Sheryl L. Fontaine and Susan Hunter. She has recently completed an edited collection of essays on the theoretical, curricular, and institutional relations between literature and composition.
