Research and Teaching

Professor Lee’s research interest focuses on the evolution of communication, knowledge, and collaboration networks in and across organizations over time. Her current research is situated in the context of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) for the development of community, with particular focus on applying theories of social networks and socio-cultural evolution to the dynamics of interorganizational networks. She is also interested in exploring the consequences of ICTs (e.g. mobile phones, Wi-Fi) on various outcomes (e.g. health practices in marginalized communities, social well-being, international digital divide) as they enhance social connectivity.
