Research
Dr. MacGeorge’s primary research program focuses on communication and coping, including published studies on advice, comforting, and prayer, and current work examining supportive communication in the context of several health issues (miscarriage, breast cancer, and bipolar disorder). She also does research evaluating the implementation of instructional technologies.
