Department hosts NCA Doctoral Honors Seminar
Honoros Seminar

The department in July hosted the National Communication Association's 2006 Doctoral Honors Seminar.

Thirty-two of the nation's best graduate student researchers presented papers in three categories: Communication Theory and Research, Mass Communication Theory and Research, and Rhetorical Studies. Joining the students were some of the top faculty scholars from around the country.

Purdue Department of Communication graduate students selected to present were Graham Bodie, Ambar Basu, Mahuya Pal, Min Jiang, and Xiaowei Shi. Department faculty who participated included Mohan Dutta, the department's Director of Graduate Studies, and Patrice Buzzanell, Professor of Organizational Communication.
