CFPs, Conferences, and Recent Publications
The Center for Cognitive Literary Studies at Purdue is a founding member of the Cognitive Literary Association, a national and international society dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of cognition, and, as such, encourages (Co)Ignition and Purdue faculty and student participation in local and national conferences. We have gathered here a list of relevant calls-for-papers, conferences, and notifications and reviews of recent publications within the field of cognitive studies.
The Center for Cognitive Literary Studies is proud to make available our bibliography for cognitive literary studies as .pdf here.
The Purdue University Press is proud to present Theory of Mind and Literature, an edition of collected essays stemming from Purdue University's international Theory of Mind Conference held in 2007. Further information can be found here.
We recommend a look at Norman Holland's book, "Literature and the Brain," published by the PsyArt Foundation, and available at: http://www.literatureandthebrain.com
If you are interested in having your panel, CFP, conference, article, or book represented here, please contact the (Co)Ignition webmaster here: lslimak@purdue.edu
We also plan to create a bibliographic database as a resource for those students and researchers in the field to make use of. Check back frequently for further updates.
