Geof-
I am not inclined to make this a forum for teaching journals because my name gets googles occasionally and a search will eventually bring up this blog (it takes a while for things to get listed in search engines). If people want their journal blog URLs to be made available to the whole class they might want to go into "access your course resources" and email the whole class with the URLs.
I have pulled together a few articles on topics that people have requested and I will drop them off to be photocopied the next time that I am on campus. BTW, I am also interested in hearing more about "Infomercial Teaching".

Hi. I want to offer up a suggestion, following Sarah's lead, that we make our classroom journal component "public" to members
of the mentor group. If we do so, perhaps this particular Blog could be that resource for us all. We would post our once-a-week lengthy Classroom journal Blog here, and then during the week--if anyone is so inclined--we might discuss different aspects of that Blog. Of course this second part is optional, but it might prove useful for getting ideas...
Is this do-able, Samantha? What do other people think?
Best,
Geof
P.S. Meg, more info "pull-eaze" about "Infomercial Teaching"--I'm intrigued, and most likely "SOLD" on the notion =)

Hi friends. I'm feeling a little distorted today, but I did want to say that I used CORE in class on Wednesday and it worked really well. The students are very adept at online, self-taught, computer magic, and they appreciated not hearing me talk about it! So if you're thinking about integrating it into your lessons on research methods, do it. You won't be sorry.
(P.S. I'm practicing Meg's technique of infomerical teaching. How did I do?)
