Randy over at carvingCode is calling for collaboration on an ABC's of edublogging. He starts by quoting Pam Pritchard who blogs:
"One quick training inservice or workshop just isn't going to cut it for most educators attempting to integrate and apply this technology to their classroom world."
No kidding?? Will someone please let everyone else in the world know that it takes years to learn to teach with technology in a pedagogically sound way? If I hear one more story of the GTA who is thrown into the computer classroom cold I'm going to scream! We need adequate resources and adequate training. After years of discussion this is still such a murky area. Let's all rush over and join Randy.
