Research and Teaching

Professor Cho’s current research focuses on health risk communication. Specific research areas include: evaluation of health message effects on diverse audiences, examination of the effects of everyday media use on health/risk relevant beliefs and behaviors, and development and evaluation of health communication campaigns. She teaches courses on persuasion, media effects, risk communication, and campaigns at the graduate level, and public relations management at the undergraduate level.
