Training in Human Subjects Protection

Since many anthropological studies involve human research subjects, it is essential for graduate students to learn the principles and regulations associated with federal legislation on work with human subjects. Purdue's Committee on the Use of Human Research Subjects offers an online course to familiarize researchers with these issues. All graduate students in anthropology must complete this course by the end of their first year in the program.
