Steve Brewer is an instructor for a class in “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” through the Discovery Park Certificate Program for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He was the CEO for MagSense Life Sciences, Inc. in Purdue Research Park. Brewer is the former assistant treasurer of Great Lakes Chemical Corp. Prior to his tenure at GLC; Brewer was the controller for the Telecommunications Division at Corning, Inc. Prior to that he was the assistant to the International Treasurer at Pfizer Corporation. Brewer has nearly 30 years of corporate finance experience as well as entrepreneurial experience with several high-tech companies.

Brewer is a native of Lafayette; he is a member of the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Advisory Council, and vice chairman of the Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union.
