After graduating, with highest distinction, from Purdue, Ryan decided to pursue a juris doctorate at the Indiana University School of Law. While attending IU, Ryan was a law clerk for in house counsel at Firestone, Indianapolis, IN.

While at Purdue Ryan was an active member of the CLA Dean’s Ambassadors and received the CLA and CLA Alumni Board’s Outstanding Senior in Sociology award.
