Christina Giles, a senior in Art History, was recognized as the 2009 Outstanding Senior of the Patti and Rusty Rueff Department of Visual and Performing Arts.

The Department of Art and Design offers undergraduate concentrations, majors, and minors in Art Education, Art History, Fine Arts, Photography, and Visual Communications Design and professional programs in Industrial Design and Interior Design. The MFA is offered in all areas except Art History; the Ph.D. in Art Education is offered in conjunction with the College of Education. These undergraduate and graduate degree programs offer an extensive range of focused investigations into the making, studying and teaching of the visual arts.
