Welcome to the Newsletter section for the Department of History. The Department of History publishes two newsletters. View the Department of History Newsletter to see how involved our faculty have been throughout the year. Success stories and items of interest from our alumni are shared. You'll also note some exciting things going on for our graduate students with their research and studies. Undergraduate Students will find the Undergraduate Newsletter quite helpful for keeping up on semester activities and an excellent source for useful information on a variety of subjects.

The Department of History Newsletter is issued once a year by our newsletter editor, Rebecca Gwin. Hard copy of this newsletter is mailed to alumni and by request to friends of the department. Extra copies are available in the main office. Previously this newsletter was titled the Primary Source. The Undergraduate Newsletter is issued each semester by the undergraduate newsletter editor, Nicky Federer. Students receive notice through e-mail each semester that the publication is completed on-line and a link is provided. Previously this newsletter was titled The Observator. Spring 2009 Edition
