Specialization:
Dr. Marsh specializes in indigenous North American history, from pre-contact through the 19th century with a special interest in indigenous women's history, place and identity.
Dr. Marsh earned her Ph.D. in Indigenous History at the University of California, Riverside. Her previous appointments were at San Diego State University and California State University, Fullerton.
Dr. Marsh is co-founder of the Indigenous Earth Sciences Project and a c
o-chair of the Tecumseh Project. Both projects seek cross-cultural collaborations between indigenous communities and the university.
